The 15 August show is a milestone in the Abu Dhabi Summer Season line up with Sunidhi’s exceptional singing ability set to be showcased in the awe-inspiring Emirates Palace auditorium.  The date also marks India’s 67th Independence Day and Sunidhi Chauhan’s performance is bound to add to the celebrations amongst Indian expatriates and the large community of multicultural Bollywood fans that live in the region.

Speaking ahead of the Abu Dhabi date Sunidhi  shares her excitement to visit the UAE to sample the legendary “shopping, food and music” and has already been impressed with the country’s diverse culture, “I think the UAE has a huge variety of taste, listening to a little bit of everything. I think it’s absolutely wonderful.”

With a back catalogue of Bollywood hits, and international recognition which has seen reach the highest highs in the Indian entertainment industry, Sunidhi believes it is her family and positivity which has spurred on, “My family has been my ultimate strength throughout my career” and “my mantra of always being in love. I love the present and I only look to the future.”

Starting her career at the age of four, Sunidhi had more than her fair share of worldly experiences but the talented performer believes the UAE could be a new source of inspiration. Despite never recording music in the United Arab Emirates, the superstar says she would certainly not rule out a UAE session and also believes the country could have what it takes to act as a breeding ground for new Bollywood performers, “I would need to spend a bit more time in the country to get a true picture of the scene but honestly you just have to have the talent first. It can be nurtured in any part of the world.”
