Fishing is an ancient practice that dates back to at least the beginning of the Paleolithic period about 40,000 years ago. The term fishing isn’t only applied to catching fish. It may be applied to catching other aquatic species such as molluscs, cephalopods, crustaceans, and echinoderms. Almost any equipment used for fishing can be called fishing tackle. Some examples are hooks, lines, nets, spears, traps, hooks…

 

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TIME!

It could be either 30 minutes after sunrise, or sunset, moon rise, and moon set.

• BE PATIENT

It may take you longer than expected to have a good catch. Don’t let impatience get in your way. Make your fishing time a good meditation time.

• HAVE A FISH CALENDAR

• STICK TO THE RULES

If you can, try to practice catch and release. It will help you be responsible on what you do.
