Zengo Dubai Welcomes Chef Liu to the Team to Introduce Authentic cuisine from the Depths of Asia and the Far East

Exotic bites and simple favourites with mouth-watering flavours from Asia and beyond promise to excite the taste buds at the Zengo Dubai


Zengo Dubai, at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa embarks on a new journey as multi-talented Chef Xiameng Liu joins the team, to transform the landscape of Dubai’s Asian cuisine as we know it, offering diners artful Asian styles and flavours, creating a unique menu and an eclectic dining experience.


The new Asian inspired menu brings guests all of the tastiest bits of the ancient Spice Route from Asia through to the Far East, offering diners a unique culinary journey. Sample cold starters such as Summer Rolls – crab and shrimp cake with rice paper, mango and sweet peach sauce. Fresh Sashimi, a fine selection of fresh Sushi and Papaya and Pomelo Salad with lime chilli dressing. Hot starters include the simple salted Edamame a simple yet delicious way to start, along with Vegetables Spring Rolls and Shrimp Tempura with ohba leaves and bonito broth. From the Robatayaki enjoy meaty Tiger Prawns bursting with flavour served with yuzu butter and mozzarella cheese, fresh from the wok, savour the Red Snapper with hot ginger garlic sauce, coriander and chilli which is sure to delight your senses or the favourite Corn Fed Chicken curry made with green curry paste, eggplant and water chestnut for a spice-induced kick.


The dessert menu promises to excite the tastebuds with the perfectly prepared Pralus Bio Equateur dark chocolate pudding, accompanied by honeycomb cake, peanut plantain and delectable honey ice cream. Lime Yuzu Cheese Cake served sesame sauce and crumb with burnt milk ice cream and the Tropical Zeng which is seasonal sliced tropical fruits with a twist with Thai dripping salt white miso meringue and green tea cookies.


Guests can choose to dine outside on the extensive beautiful terrace overlooking the gardens of Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, further into the Arabian Gulf and the bright lights of JBR and Dubai Marina.


Zengo is the perfect spot to drop in for after work drinks, watch the skilled bartenders concoct exotic signature cocktails such as the Kimono which is fruity and sweet and the Zen Colada an Asian twist on the old classic for AED 48, for those looking for a place to relax, enjoy great food and take in the chilled vibe with DJ Katty Torres on the decks. Guests can make use of the non-smoking bar in the main dining section of the restaurant or a side smoking bar in the lounge area.


Boasting a separate entrance area and a dedicated valet parking service, Zengo is open six days a week from 7pm–1am on Sunday to Wednesday and Thursdays and Fridays from 7pm-2am with dining available until 12am.
