Hotel employees gathered to learn heart attack prevention from MediClinic
Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, recently organized a health awareness program focusing on prevention of heart attacks as part of the property’s Responsibility Awareness Program.
Hotel employees from different departments gathered to learn from Dr. Raji Matthew, specialist on Internal Medicine from MediClinic Al Qusais, as he imparted lectures on heart attack, one of the most pressing illnesses in the country. Dr. Matthew emphasized the ways to recognize symptoms and explained how medical systems and practitioners help to remove heart blockages. He also encouraged each participant to be aware on taking precautions to prevent attacks such as healthy choices of food and exercise.
Mediclinic Middle East is part of Mediclinic International, a private hospital group with three operating platforms in Southern Africa (South Africa and Namibia), Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates, and a 29.9% shareholding in Spire Healthcare, a UK-based healthcare group with 38 hospitals.
Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Office, Al Bustan Centre and Residence said: “We, at Al Bustan Centre and Residence, put high regard on the physical wellness of our employees as they are the core assets of the property. This health awareness focusing on heart ailment is one of the few measures we have taken under the Responsibility Awareness Program to support their welfare.”
