KhawlaWRoadha, Emirati designer sisters Khawla and Roadha Bin Khedia presented their Spring/Summer 2014 Collection in May in A4 Space, Al Quoz.
The collection is sophisticated with a touch of elegant simplicity. Utilizing mainly cotton and cotton jersey, the collection is a cocktail of trousers, long and short skirts, blouses, t-shirt dresses, tank tops and off shoulder tops.
The entire collection consists of pastel colors and is inspired by macaroons, ice cream and cotton candy with a touch of tradition. KhawlaWRoadha used the Dirham Coin with a touch of embroidery to give it an elegant feel. Despite their sophistication, the collection has a playful twist to it.
“This collection has a summer feel to it, it caters to everyone. We wanted to keep it simple with light colors so that our clients could add their own touch of colorful accessories to it. Some days you feel like making a statement, other days you just want to be simple; this collection caters both moods.”
The young Emirati sisters made their debut with the Dolls collection last year followed by the Ramadan collection with an innovative set of designs and styles that were unique to their style. All three collections received tremendous feedback and attention across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Available in a variety of sizes, the collection is currently available at Farfalla Boutique, Garhoud, O Concept Store, and Candella Boutique, both in Jumeirah and at Jewels Corner in Abu Dhabi. Visit Pinterest/Khawlawroadha for more.
