This Fall Winter 2016/2017, the idea of Parisian couture is reinterpreted in a cinematographic mood, celebrating a woman in motion.
This is the second collaboration between Alithia Spuri-Zampetti, Creative Director at Paule Ka, and the British photographer Miles Aldridge: Michelangelo Antonioni’s first color movie, The Red Desert (Il Deserto Rosso, 1964) has inspired a mysterious heroin walking on a foggy road, as a nod to Antonioni’s directing and tones.
Michelangelo Antonioni was used to turn his ideas directly into moods: each and every shot of The Red Desert is like a painting. Likewise, Miles Aldridge has expressed an inner journey within a dream world, thanks to his sense of color, framing and composition. Using his film camera, he has shot four strong images, enhancing the lines and couture fabrics of Paule Ka’s fall/ winter 2016/2017 collection.
Model Iris Strubegger perfectly embodies today’s Paule Ka woman: an independent and dynamic woman, she has a strong personality, making her own decisions. With her Sixties-inspired hairstyle, she is wearing four Paule Ka looks that are made of trompe l’oeil lace pleats, sophisticated drapes, bold volumes and opulent materials, willing to walk towards her future, elegantly standing for Paule Ka ’s renewal.
this new campaign will be exposed in Paris during September 2016.
