Baume & Mercier celebrates talent by offering Clifton Taormina Award to Harvey Keitel and Promesse Award to Noemi during the Awards Ceremony of TaorminaFilmFest on Tuesday 14th of June.
At the fourth Awards Ceremony of the 62° edition of TaorminaFilmFest yesterday evening on Tuesday 14th of June, Baume & Mercier was very honoured to offer “Clifton Taormina Award” to one of the most talentuous and famous actor: Harvey Keitel.
Harvey Keitel is a movie actor and producer best known for playing notably in films by Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. He appeared in Scorsese’s first feature, Who’s That Knocking At My Door and in films such as Taxi Driver, Thelma & Louise, Bugsy (for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe), Pulp Fiction, The Piano. He began a new series on TV, Life On Mars, in the fall of 2008. He recently appeared in The Ridiculous 6, a 2015 American Western comedy film directed by Frank Coraci.
Baume & Mercier was extremely honoured to celebrate his talent and offered him the “Clifton Taormina Award”.
Harvey Keitel received a Clifton Taormina Limited Edition Watch. This model has been designed to celebrate the art of film – the 39 mm 18K red gold case is enhanced by the sapphire case back adorned with the festival’s logo, while the design of its minuterie track is reminiscent of a film reel. It has been produced in a series of 62 pieces to celebrate the 62nd edition of the Festival and is available from June 2016, exclusively in Italy.
During the Ceremony Renato Scloza, Brand Manager of Baume & Mercier Italy, was honoured to offer “Promesse Taormina Award” to the Italian singer Noemi.
Noemi received a Petite Promesse. Novelty 2016 of the Promesse Collection, this model fitted with an orange strap – bright, deep and modern. The wrap around strap and its calfskin with contemporary finishing give this polished steel watch, set with diamonds, a very trendy contrast of chic and glamour – all the makings of a genuine style accessory. Also Thierry Fremaux attended last night the Awards Ceremony in
Taormina. Mister Fremaux, director of the Institut Lumière and of the Cannes Film Festival was very impressed about this important Italian Film Festival.
