Twice World Rally Champion Miki Biasion is the New Eberhard & Co. Brand Ambassador

There are some powerful, engaging stories that cross and come together in the name of passion, in this case passion for cars, for challenges and for style: two-time world champion Miki Biasion has been made Brand Ambassador of Swiss watchmakers Eberhard & Co., thus establishing a close cooperation, marked by time and by the hands of prestigious watches and boosted by the enthusiasm of a very special celebrity.

Born in Bassano del Grappa, overall champion in 1988 and 1989 with the legendary Lancia Delta Integrale, Biasion boasts an array of world and European titles. He was the first and only Italian driver in history to win the World Rally Championship and is still a forward-looking professional in full swing, constantly attracted to new finishing lines.

Eberhard & Co.’s adventure in the wonderful world of classic cars has been enhanced by a prestigious new collaboration started last year on the occasion of one of the finest historic car events that the Maison supports: the Rallylegend of San Marino. Eberhard chose to race together with the much-loved driver and his vehicle along the incredible curves of the route and gave the many participants from all over the world the chance of an unforgettable encounter with their idol at its exhibition space.

The journey has now been made official and continues to make headway: Miki Biasion will in fact be wearing Eberhard’s colours and watches, making use of his experience and his fame for exciting new undertakings, to be experienced together.

“Biasion is for us a perfect Brand Ambassador,” says Mario Peserico, Eberhard & Co. General Manager. “He is perfectly positioned between the past and the future, being highly accomplished when it comes to modern cars while bringing the great classic rallies of the past back to life. He is one of those very special people who, quite apart from his unforgettable achievements, continues to stand out due to his unique, winning class, style and humanity.”

“There are things, like certain cars and some watches,” says Miki Biasion, “which transmit sensations and emotions and at the same time represent technology and timeless style. They often reflect the personality of the user or wearer. This is why a two-time world rally champion like me relies on the Tazio Nuvolari 336 watch to tell the time.” The champion’s “wrist choice” to wear on his next challenges is indeed the high-performance “dual time” chronograph, the latest creation in one of the most popular collections, produced in a limited edition of 336 pieces.
