World Classical Music Series brings you piano prodigy Anastasia Injushina and unique Ciurlionis String Quartet at One&Only Royal Mirage hotel.


Anastasia Injushina began her piano studies at the age of four and at the age of ten she premiered in the famous hall of St. Petersburg Philharmonie. When still studying, she was awarded the II position at the national Maj Lind piano competition and she won I prize at the Munich ARD competition.


Since 2009, Anastasia Injushina has been the artistic director of her own Helsinki Spring Light Chamber Music Festival.


Founded in 1968, the Ciurlionis String Quartet has a reputation of not only technically brilliant but also very inventive and inspiring ensemble. In 1990, the ensemble was among the first to receive the prestigious Lithuanian National Arts and Culture Prize, the highest award in Lithuania. In 2004, the Ciurlionis String Quartet captured second prize in the International Chamber Music Competition in Schweinfurt, Germany; the Lithuanian Musicians’ Union awarded it with the Gold Disc. In 2005, the Ciurlionis String Quartet attracted much attention of the international audiences and media by giving concerts in the EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan. The quartet is currently expanding its perspective as a classical ensemble to include jazz and world music projects. The musicians play the unique instruments produced by the 18th century Italian masters.
