Explores with first time partnerships and develops ground breaking materials
Natuzzi, one the world’s most internationally acclaimed luxury furniture, is back at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2016 with a stunning new collection.
Our living area proposals, a traditional Natuzzi stronghold, have many new surprises with over 20 new models for the bedroom and dining areas, including sofas, beds, dining tables and chairs. Sure to win your favour is our new Re-vive collection, featuring the world’s first performance recliner, an easy chair that intuitively responds to the movement of your body meaning you can always count on finding a comfortable position. Wrapping up the Natuzzi multi-functional living-area concept is a range of original furniture and accessory ideas with new lamps, coffee tables, rugs and vases.
The New Collection takes its cue from the idea of harmony: Natuzzi strives to bring objects and people together in perfect harmony – in other words, it is a harmony-maker. The sum total of these two words is what animates Natuzzi Italia’s heart: harmony is an abstract concept to which people aspire whilst the maker has a concrete vibe, bringing to mind craftsmanship and construction, because in actual fact all Natuzzi products are conceived, developed and manufactured within the Group.
Umpteen talented designers interpreted the philosophy of Natuzzi Italia. To name but a few, Manzoni and Tapinassi of Studio Memo, Claudio Bellini, Mauro Lipparini, Victor Vasilev and Bernhardt & Vella. In addition to these we harnessed the ideas of our Natuzzi Style Centre designers who followed through the innovational aspects of the project including new natural leathers, fabrics and cutting-edge materials with astounding comfort levels.
The Herman sofa is the star of this year’s collection. The result of Studio Memo’s creative work, Herman combines harmony, design and craftsmanship playing cleverly with shape and size. The seats are deep and welcoming, fitted with corner chaise-longue end pieces that allow you lie down comfortably. The backs are low and have matching cushions, while the armrests, enhanced by highly refined seams, emphasised the simple design of the sofa.
The metal exterior support – resembling a fin, from which the name Herman as a homage to Herman Melville, author of Moby Dick – surround both the backrest and the seat giving dynamism to the structure. The elements also include an armchair and coffee table in different shapes and sizes that can intersect with each other to create unique systems for the most diverse needs.
In the dining area, Natuzzi presents its new Leggero collection designed by Victor Vasilev. An elegant ensemble focused on formal lightness, Leggero is Vasilev’s homage to the master of industrial design Giò Pionti. This set, made of the Leggero dining table and the chair and armchair Lisa, features a unique dynamic lightness which is the result of the elimination of the superfluous.
Natuzzi also features Natuzzi Editions product line, presenting the outstanding new collection of leather sofas and armchairs, well-made, sturdy and highly comfortable – just as you would expect from Natuzzi: our inside-out knowledge of leather, stylish designs and strong production skills mean we will never you down.
