Home-grown coffee and kitchen concept adds lean-protein, high-nutrient options perfect for athletes and fitness enthusiasts

 

Home-style concept café Nathalie’s is adding a slew of colorful, flavorful and fitness-friendly offerings to its menu, cementing its growing reputation as a must-visit eatery catering to all of Dubai’s diverse tribes.

 

Inspired by personal trainers, Nathalie’s specialty menu is designed to cater to athletes and sports and fitness enthusiasts. It spans from breakfast to dinner, and reflects their wholesome nutrition mantra of clean, balanced eating, a basic principle in healthy eating that will ensure you get all the vitamins and nutrients you need.

 

The fitness menu’s Green Eggs, for example, deliciously features poached eggs on a bed of spinach with a side of avocado – combining healthy fats, yummy protein and mineral-rich greens.

 

Similarly, the Chicken Salad pairs grilled chicken breasts with crumbled goat cheese and the café’s signature mixed herb salad. Freshly squeezed lemon juice, chili, mustard and a shot of superseeds on the side boost the flavor and nutrition profile.

 

For those looking for a more substantial meal, the fitness menu allows you to choose your protein – tuna steak, salmon fillet or chicken breast – with a side of your favorite carb and/or veggies. The adventurous gourmet, can try Nathalie’s kale gaba rice, which combines supergrain and supergreen. Traditionally used in Japanese and Korean cuisine, gaba is germinated and unpolished brown rice with a higher nutritional profile and nutty flavor. The rest of the sides – spinach, mixed vegetables, broccoli and sweet potato wedges – have been included to cater to cravings for classic comfort food, with a wholesome healthy twist.
