Iconic brand joins with Garbstore, Salong Batong and Cam’Ron for exclusive new designs
Reebok Classics has announced three exclusive new styles to add to its iconic line-up for Spring 2016. Hitting the stores from April 2016, the limited edition collections have seen the brand once again partnering with boundary-pushing UK retailer Garbstore and famed Swedish tattoo studio Salong Batong, as well as a new creative partnership with US hip hop artist Cam’Ron.
The latest collection from the long-running link-up with Reebok Classics and niche fashion retailer Garbstore updates the much-loved Ventilator shoe. Available in two colourways, the Garbstore X Ventilator II draws inspiration from the intricate surfaces and textures around sports facilities. Fabric underlays are juxtaposed with supple suede and leather overlays for maximum impact. (AED 625)
The Salong Betong X NPC II is Reebok’s third collaboration with the Stockholm-based tattoo studio. This time, they have re-worked the classic NPC II silhouette, to create a clean white sneaker with a high fashion feel. Expressing Salong Betong’s own creative journey, ‘From Nothing to Something’, the concrete printed sole contrasts against a luxurious upper, with Aniline nappa garment leather on toe and tongue and naturally semi pigmented tumbled leather on the sides. Pared back details include cracked leather tongue patch and heel, embossed Salong Betong motif and quilted leather interior. (AED 675)
The debut collaboration with hip hop star Cam’Ron introduces Classics’ new FAME program (‘Fashion, Artists, Musicians, Entertainers’). The Cam’Ron X Ventilator Supreme is inspired by the artist’s critically acclaimed 2004 album, Purple Haze. Alternating shades of purple, teal and pink blend well with the new season’s bold aesthetic, contrasted against an iridescent heel and pink fur image of Cam’Ron on the sockliner. (AED 645)
Reebok Classic’s limited edition new collaborations are now available at the Reebok Classic stores across the GCC.
