Common food to fight acid reflux

Unhealthy lifestyles, stressful modes, unbalanced diets, lots of fizzy drinks and coffee, sleepless nights, and… skipping lunch meals can lead to acid reflux. 1. Oatmeal
Oatmeal is just about the best breakfast and any-time-of-day snack. It’s filling and healthy.

Ginger has been used throughout history as an anti-inflammatory and as a treatment for gastrointestinal conditions. It can easily be peeled, sliced, diced, or shaved –to be used while cooking too.


3. Salad
Salad is a main meal for acid refluxers, although tomatoes and onions should be avoided, as well as cheese and high-fat dressings, as well as acid sauces.


4. Banana
Bananas make a perfect snack, and at pH 5.6, they’re usually great for people with acid reflux.


5. Chicken and turkey
Chicken and turkey can be boiled, baked, grilled, or sautéed. You will have to remove the skin though, as it is high in fat.

Couscous (semolina wheat), bulgur wheat, and rice (especially brown rice) are all outstanding foods for acid reflux.
