Step into spring with seasonal menu launch

Renowned for its ‘Best of British’ specialties, Rivington Grill offers springtime flavours for a light and fresh twist

 

Rivington Grill in Souk al Bahar launches a mouth-watering menu to celebrate the first glimpses of spring. From mid-February through to late April, diners can enjoy an array of seasonally inspired, down to earth dishes, which the restaurant has become known for, whist bringing Britain’s springtime favourites to UAE residents.

 

Staying true to its roots, Rivington Grill’s new menu focuses on offering the finest ingredients and timely produce, prepared and sourced with the utmost respect.

 

“Every year Britons looks forward to welcoming Spring along with the warmer weather and delicious seasonal produce that comes along with the new season such as, kale, rhubarb, cauliflower, blood oranges and mussels. It is a joyous time of the year at home and here at Rivington Grill, we want to bring that same feeling to our guests through our culinary offerings,” said Shaun Watson, Head Chef, Rivington Grill.

 

“Regardless, if you are from the UK or not, modern British food has become a classic across the globe and we pride ourselves on keeping true to the cuisine by offering honest, simple good food that everyone enjoys,” added Chef Shaun.

 

Highlights of some of the new starter dishes include: Roasted Sea Scallops, Pearl Onion & Red Wine Sauce, taste bud hit, Devilled Warm Chicken Livers & Lentils and nostalgic British innovative custom-designed dishes including Haggis Hash, Crispy Egg, Worcestshire Sauce & HP Gravy.

 

Whilst mains offer the finest fish, poultry and meat selections including; fresh Butterflied Sea Bass served with Scottish Mussels & Crispy Kale, tasty tender Almond Crusted Chicken Breast served with Sprouting Broccoli & Mustard Sauce as well as succulent Barnsley Lamb Chop and Bubble ‘n’ Squeak. Additional options of spring sides from the garden include Cauliflower Cheese, Sautéed Cabbage and Heritage Potatoes.

 

To complete the meal and sure to satisfy any sweet tooth, dessert offers a sumptuous Dark Chocolate & Blood Orange Tart or rustic, simple yet heavenly Rhubarb & Blackberry Crumble.

 

For those who may still be craving their weekly ‘Brit’ fix of a roast with all the trimmings, the Rivington’s prized ‘Saturday Roast’ consisting of – Rib Beef, Slow Roasted on the bone, a generous Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables is the ultimate end of the weekend indulgence and can still be enjoyed in the spring and on the outdoor terrace, while the weather is still nice.
