The organizers of the longest running and most awarded multi-day music festival in the region has added another great act to complete the bill!

Dubai, 14 January 2016: Chillout Productions has officially announced today the addition of the British rock veterans James to the 2016 line up, proving once again that the organizers always have surprises in store for their fans. The Manchester seven-piece will be performing alongside Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox and Toto on February 24, at the 14th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival® 2016 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Fans can expect an extraordinary performance from James as they will play live favourites and more throughout the night!

Known for their unique and diverse style over their 13 studio albums, they’re both critically acclaimed and commercially successful, having sold over 12 million albums worldwide. The band originally signed to the iconic Factory Records in 1982, and have since gone onto produce a string of massive hit singles, including: ‘Sit Down’, ‘Come Home’, ‘She’s A Star’ and ‘Born of Frustration’. Now, 32 years on, and less than two years after the release of their spectacular La Petite Mort album, they have already come up with a new record that the band considers their best ever. The latest and 14th studio album, Girl At The End Of The World, is set for release on March 18, 2016. The band will also embark on a 15-date UK tour in May, including a giant hometown show at Manchester Arena and a 3-date takeover of London at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, O2 Forum Kentish Town and O2 Brixton Academy.

“Everyone needs to experience Dubai Jazz Festival in all its glory so we invite everyone this February as this 14th edition is without a doubt the festival’s cream of the crop. By adding James as a co-headliner, festivalgoers can absolutely enjoy the incredible live performances from our great and diverse line up this year. The return of sell-out acts such as Legendary Pop-Rock Band Toto, Singer-Songwriters David Gray and Sting, and Jazz-Pop-Rock Legend Carlos Santana to headline the festival alongside Master Trumpeter Chris Botti, Youtube Sensation Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, and Percussion Group La Bomba De Tiempo, will be a three unforgettable nights for all – an event that is surely not to be missed,” said Anthony Younes, CEO and Founder Chillout Productions.
