[9 DECEMBER] Tuesday 8th December marked Toko Dubai’s highly anticipated #TokoNightBrunch. Heralded as one of Dubai’s coolest urban outposts, the restaurant welcomed some of the city’s most fashionable trendsetters and cosmic kittens to come eat, drink, shop and play for an all-out trendy night!

 

Toko was transformed into the hustling and bustling streets of Tokyo complete with dancers, dazzling glitter make-up and buzzing pop up shops. The distinctly cool Asakusa ‘izakaya’ street food style vibe comprised a playful four-part menu including tempting tuna tacos, baskets of fluffy powdery white buns, hearty sliders, soft shell crab and creamy mochi ice cream to finish.

 

Live B-boy dancers wowed the crowd with their ultra cool moves and pulsating energy, guests also browsed around the quirky pop up stores including the bespoke men’s and children’s swimwear brand Havelock Bay, contemporary fashion brand Dulaab, urban clothing brand Young Wilderness, rock chic with a touch of bohemian Glam N Rock while getting their face painted by the lovely ladies from Glitterbox Dubai.

 

The venue hosted some of the biggest names across Dubai’s social scene, welcoming guests including lovable Physique TV presenter Amy Kitchingham; the oh-so-stylish Esther Quek; lifestyle connoisseur and founder of Levier Concepts Isaac Ode; the witty stylist and blogger Samantha Francis; founder of Style Drifter Teresa Karpinska and fitness enthusiast Megan Joy.
