City Centre Fujairah Celebrates 20th Anniversary of City Centre Brand with Performer Balqees

Fujairah, UAE, 18 November 2015: Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centre Fujairah—the first and largest premium lifestyle shopping destination in the emirate—will welcome renowned Emirati singer Balqees Ahmed Fathi for an exhilarating performance on November 20 adjacent to the mall’s food court to celebrate the City Centre brand’s 20th anniversary.

In a continuation of the festivities taking place around the region to highlight twenty years of the City Centre brand, Balqees will perform a selection of well-known hits for her loyal fans, as City Centre Fujairah continues its tradition of hosting musical talents for the enjoyment of its visitors.


“Enhancing our customers’ experience and aiming to create great moments for everyone, everyday is part of the Majid Al Futtaim’s vision. Our forthcoming community concert with Balqees is our way of thanking our loyal shoppers for their continued support of the mall as well as the City Centre brand, which is marking its 20th anniversary,” said Mohammed Al Rais, Mall Manager for City Centre Fujairah.


Musically gifted Balqees began her singing career at a young age and is deemed an all-time favourite female Arab performer. She has mastered various Arabic dialects and her live performances resonate with a diversity of fans throughout the region.


In addition to enjoying Balqees’ performance, the first of two lucky raffle winners will be drawn live on stage during the concert and the recipient will take home a grand prize of a RAM 1500 vehicle at City Centre Fujairah to mark City Centre’s 20th anniversary. The second prize draw will take place in the mall on 20 December.

Since opening in 2012, City Centre Fujairah has created a tradition of delivering innovative events and memorable concerts for its visitors. Fayez Al Saeed recently performed to a captivated audience in June 2015, while the mall also previously hosted musical talents including Diana Haddad and Shamma Hamdan.
