Abu Dhabi – On the 30th of September, Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana paid a visit to Abu Dhabi centre for humanitarian care and special needs people, the first and biggest centre from 19 centres under Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs in Abu Dhabi. This visit was conducted by heads of department, who showed their support to children with special needs and know more about their life, the services, treatments and entertainment that are delivered to them.
“The smiles on the children’s faces were the best recompense and it reinforces our commitment to always help people around us and organizations, such as the Abu Dhabi centre, in achieving their mission to support the less privileged. We are all responsible, mainly when it concerns children, as they are our future. It was a great pleasure to spend time with the children and make them forget, for a moment, their difficulties.” said Mark Timbrell, General Manager of Khalidiya Palace by Rotana.
Providing several services from education, vocational and therapeutic rehabilitation to psychological care or family counselling that aim at rehabilitating disabled people and encourage them to join the society. The main mission is to promote full independence in the community and allow children and others in special needs to achieve their hopes and goals. Abu Dhabi centre is one of the largest centres in Abu Dhabi which offers services to almost 700 beneficiaries.
Children suffering from disabilities are numerous but they must have the same chances and shouldn’t be forgotten. For this reason, Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana chose to be a part of this project. During the day, Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana team had the pleasure to spend time and share different activities with the lovely children, comprehending their life situations. They had the opportunity to spend a pleasant and memorable moments with the children.
