The newly restored version of Luchino Visconti’s Rocco and His Brothers debuts this evening at the 68th Cannes Film Festival.
Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri and Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele were joined on the red carpet by the film’s original cast Claudia Cardinale and Max Cartier, and international guests such as Salma Hayek-Pinault, Gianna Jun, Charlotte Casiraghi and Jeanne Damas.
Benicio Del Toro introduced the film.

Charlotte Casiraghi wore a Gucci one of a kind blue geranium printed chiffon pleated gown with burgundy grosgrain ribbon belt, pale pink open toe platform shoes and burgundy satin antique gold cat closure clutch.
Jeanne Damas wore a Gucci one of kind black silk embroidered sleeve gown with a deep V neckline worn with black platform open toe crystal sandals and black lucite clutch.
Benicio Del Toro wore a Gucci midnight blue peak lapel one button Marseille tuxedo with a white evening shirt, midnight blue satin tie and black patent leather lace up shoes.
Cast member Max Cartier wore a Gucci black shawl lapel one button Dylan tuxedo with a black wing tip evening shirt, black silk bow tie and black leather lace up shoes.
