“Making this album was quite a journey but I loved it! It was through a time in my life where there were a lot of changes and new beginnings. I’m thrilled with the response to “Into the Blue”, and I can’t wait for you hear the rest of the record!”
Kiss Me Once is Kylie’s first studio album since 2010’s Aphrodite. The album, a definite return to the dance floor after 2012’s Abbey Road Sessions, was produced by Kylie and Sia, who co-wrote the title track. The first single, the shimmering and anthemic ‘Into the Blue,’ has been gathering rave reviews across the globe and is destined to be a dance floor smash hit. Kylie also teams up with Pharrell Williams, who wrote and produced ‘I Was Gonna Cancel.’ Other producers include Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM) on ‘If Only,’ MNEK on ‘Feels So Good,’ and Greg Kurstin on bonus track ‘Sleeping with the Enemy.’
Close Up On Kylie
Kylie Minogue exploded onto the music scene in 1987 and has not only become a chart topping, multi-award winning global artist over the past two decades, but is also a fashion icon, designer, entrepreneur, actress and philanthropist. Kylie has remained a force to be reckoned with and a constant musical influence throughout the years, having released eleven studio albums, two live CDs, eight live concert DVDs, plus her Greatest Hits and the Ultimate Kylie double album and multiple video packages. She has released 50 singles internationally, all of which have been hits, an impressive achievement in an otherwise volatile and ever-changing musical landscape.
Despite over two decades worth of impressive accomplishments, Kylie is just getting started and is poised to take the world by storm for decades yet to come.
