La Moda Sunglasses to Add New International Brands To Portfolio

La Moda Sunglasses, the luxury sunglasses retail chain that is part of the Pure Gold Group, will strengthen its presence in the region with new stores due to open in Avenue Mall in Oman, Ibn Battuta Metro Link in the UAE, Mall of Qatar and many more in 2015.  The fastest growing sunglasses retailer in the GCC currently has 15 stores in the region and displays stylish sunglasses from brands such as Prada, Giorgio Armani, Chloe, Roberto Cavalli and Versace.


According to Amran Iqbal, CEO of La Moda Sunglasses: “With the growth in tourism and retail infrastructure in the region and the focus on fashion, we expect a robust growth this year. Last year alone we experienced store on store sales increase of 30% and we also signed up with six new international brands, giving our customers a wider choice of styles to choose from.”


New additions to La Moda’s growing portfolio includes Fendi, Miu Miu,Burberry, Maui Jim, Givenchy and Salvatore Ferregamo. The elite eyewear boutique moves away from the traditional system of displaying sunglasses. All the products are displayed individually on wall mounts. LED lights are used on each separate display unit, which gives a distinctive, sophisticated look to the boutique.


“By 2016, we also plan to enter the optical eyewear space. Eyewear has become a must-have accessory for both men and women.
